I am Rosy by name and this is my story!
“My friends can easily attest to the fact that I’m blessed with knowledge and i’ve also been attending all the classes, not missing out on assignment, test and exams”.
They were all shocked when our second semester result was pasted.
This is not the first time Mr.Ette the mathematics lecturer had given me a carry-over on this very course.
My best friend whom I share the same room with in the hostel couldn’t contain her shock. So she asked questions that I couldn’t give answers to.
“Are you sure you wrote Mr. Ette’s test? But we were sitting together, How come I passed the course and you failed again”?
She has been caring because we stayed together, she’s lovely and very dedicated to God as well.
I couldn’t give an answer to any of her questions? So I chose to share the story behind the carry-over in Mr. Ette’s course.
You remember me telling you about Mr. Ette, how he’s been disturbing me all this while.
He called me to his office the last time I returned from school late, that was before the result was pasted in our second semester.
“He told me that he wants me to be his girlfriend and you know what that would lead to.
And I told him, that I’m still a virgin. But he sounded so harsh and he promised me that I’m not going to pass his course except he has me on his bed.
“My friend, This has been the same issue, and you know I can’t keep on having series of carry-overs while my poor mother is out there suffering to see me through school.
“I’m seriously confused at this point and I don’t know what to do”.
Femi; Rosy’s friend, was left confused and didn’t know what to say to her friend because the man call Mr.Ette, is a beast and a taunt to so many students in campus.
He’s been sleeping around with many ladies all in the name of passing them in his course.
They both went out for lectures the next morning and on their way to their lecture room. They ran into Mr. Ette, who parked at the entrance of Block E, Rosy’s lectures room.
“Hey! Come here, Yes,You”.
Mr. Ette, called on Rosy stopping her from entering the morning class. He took her to his car and demanded that she should meet him in a hotel room by 4pm that same day. He gave her the location and instructed her not to fail.
Rosy, after missing the morning class was left in a state of dilemma and didn’t know what to do as Mr. Ette was becoming a thorn in her flesh.
So she left the school and went meeting with him later that day.
Mr. Ette, on seeing her in the hotel room was excited because his wish was coming true for him.
So he asked her again! “Are you still a virgin”?
“Yes I am, and haven’t done this before, please don’t hurt me sir”. Rosy pleaded with a cry.
“Oh! No. I’m not hurting you. Relax, I have what to give you”.
He went inside and brought out sleeping pills and gave to her to swallow. Rosy, took it because she was under pressure of passing Mr. Ette’s course.
And that was how she ended up as Mr. Ette’s mistress, who finally got pregnant to him but was openly denied by Mr. Ette, who didn’t want to lose his job.
Rosy, had no one to have complained to that would have help her bring Mr. Ette actions to justice.
She ended up as a baby mama and was ashamed of herself, her friends left her and because of taking care of the child she couldn’t continue her education again.
_____You are passing through that suffering because there is a man that is behind it. That course is hard for you to pass because there is a man that is sitting on top of your glory.
As written in psalms “Lord, how many are my foes!
How many rise up against me!Many are saying of me,God will not deliver him.”
“But you, Lord, are a shield around me,my glory, the One who lifts my head high.I call out to the Lord, and he answers me from his holy mountain.
“Arise, Lord!Deliver me, my God Strike all my enemies on the jaw; break the teeth of the wicked.From the Lord comes deliverance”. May your blessing be on your people.
Anyone sitting on top of your glory. God will strike such a person In Jesus name Amen.
